Signed and Scanned: Lawrence of Arabia by Peter O’Toole
It’s taken me a bit over a month, but here’s the second installment of my Signed and Scanned feature. I could not be more proud of this one, a DVD sleeve for Lawrence of Arabia autographed by the iconic Peter O’Toole. It’s one of my favorite films and I have undying respect for the very gracious Mr. O’Toole.
The entire thing just turned out splendidly and I’m happy to share a scan:

That’s pretty damn cool. Any pictures of you and O’Toole?
Note to self: get out more and annoy famous (or otherwise) people.
Thanks. Not too interested in having pictures made with celebrities. It can feel like a bother just asking for an autograph so I try to make it as painless as possible. I guess they’re similar inconveniences (or can be), but the autograph appeals to me much more for some reason. I did snap a couple of him at the time. I’m not sure what I did with them.
Very, very neat-o. Can we request scans? I seem to remember you saying you got Cronenberg to sign Naked Lunch.
Sure. I can do that one next. It’ll probably be a couple of weeks. My plan now is to alternate between actors and directors as much as possible.
